After filling this center with dirt, the entire area was filled with cement up to the top of the framing boards.

One of the most wonderful aromas universally is the smell of fresh bread coming out of the oven. We are fortunate to have great friends from the Azores where large brick ovens are a part of daily living. As they talked about Portuguese bread and other tasty foods made in these ovens I decided I wanted one in our backyard. March 27, 2014
